Agent confirms where Tiémoué Bakayoko will play next season | OneFootball

Tiémoué Bakayoko’s agent has confirmed that the midfielder will be a Chelsea player next season.

Bakayoko spent last season on loan at Milan where he overcame a difficult start to become one of Gennaro Gattuso’s key men towards the end of the campaign.

Unfortunately for the France international though, the Serie A side have confirmed they will not be taking up their purchase option on the 24-year-old and will instead look at other targets.

With his future up in the air there had been suggestions that Bakayoko could go back out on another loan in 2019/20, but that has been refuted by his representative.

“There are some quite interesting clubs, some quite big ones who have made enquiries, but we are giving our priority to Chelsea,” Abdoulaye Bakayoko told L’Equipe.

“We know already, there is Champions’ League and stability. Tiémoué has decided to stay.”
