Agent confirms Roma midfielder Diawara 'pleased' with Arsenal links

Arsenal are interested in signing Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara.

The 23-year-old is rumored to be involved in a swap deal that could include Lucas Torreira from the Gunners.

The latter wants to go back to Italy, while the agent of Diawara claims Arsenal like his client.

Diawara's agent, Daniele Piraino, told Tuttomercatoweb: "He is concentrated on his career.

"Diawara is at a top club like Roma, where he is happy, as there is enthusiasm around the new owners.

"However, he is also liked by many clubs in England, including Arsenal.

"Being linked with certain clubs is pleasing for him, as these are prestigious sides.

"Amadou is concentrated on football and his career."
