English midfielder Ovie Ejaria's on the verge of signing for Real Oviedo newly promoted to La Liga as part of their preparations for the 2025 /26 season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ejaria who has been on trial with Oviedo in recent weeks, has impressed the coaching staff edging closer to sealing permanent move before the season kicks off.

Past Rejections and Missed Chances

The 27 year old previously trialed with Egyptian giants Zamalek last summer. Despite playing in friendly and training with the squad, Ejaria failed to convince the coaching staff and wasn't offered contract.

Free Agent Since Reading Exit

Ejaria has been without club since leaving Reading in Jan 2024. A product of Liverpool’s academy, he made several senior appearances for the Reds before spells at Rangers & Reading.
