According to media reports, Hansi Flick will become the new coach at FC Barcelona – the official announcement is expected to be made soon. Several German internationals and Bayern stars are already being linked with a move to Barcelona. In addition to Joshua Kimmich, another FCB professional is now said to be on Flick’s wish list.
Hansi Flick is set to become coach of FC Barcelona and there is already plenty of speculation surrounding the former national team coach’s dream players. Unsurprisingly, these include several professionals with whom Flick has already worked in the past.
According to the portal todofichajes.com, Flick is also rumoured to want to lure Kingsley Coman to Barcelona. The 59-year-old worked extremely successfully with the Frenchman during his time at FC Bayern. Flick is said to still have a special relationship with the scorer of the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final. Flick has already told the Barca bosses that he sees Coman as the ideal replacement for Raphinha, who is keen to move on.

Although Coman’s contract with Bayern runs until 2027, a departure next summer is by no means ruled out. The French international’s sporting status has fallen significantly of late – primarily due to his enormous susceptibility to injury. Coman is also said to be able to imagine leaving Munich. Nevertheless, a transfer is likely to be quite expensive for the Catalans. A transfer fee of between 60 and 70 million euros would be due for the 27-year-old.
The Spanish newspaper El Nacional recently reported that Kimmich is the new Barca coach’s absolute favourite player. The 29-year-old is still under contract with the German record champions until 2025 and has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Bayern in recent months. The plans of new Bayern coach Vincent Kompany are likely to be decisive for Kimmich’s sporting future.
Leverkusen star Jeremy Frimpong and Leipzig’s Dani Olmo and David Raum are also apparently keen to sign Flick. However, Frimpong and Olmo are also being discussed by FC Bayern. Both can leave their respective clubs thanks to a fixed exit clause.
