India took the lead via a 75th-minute own goal courtesy of Afghanistan goalkeeper Ovays Azizi, but the Afghans pulled back their equaliser minutes later, through their teenage sensation Hossein Zamani. India beat Afghanistan in the SAFF Championship final in 2016.Afghanistan went unbeaten in the tournament, only to be beaten by the Blue TIgers in the final.Jeje and Chhetri scored the two important goals in the final against Afghanistan, who could only manage a single goal.The Afghans managed to find the lead in this game but the Indians fought back to win the game 2-1.
