Former Sheffield Wednesday player George Hirst is a doubt to face his old club for Portsmouth tomorrow night due to illness.
The two sides are set to meet at Fratton Park in what is a huge game for both as they look to push into the play-off places.
However, Hirst, who is the son of former Owls favourite David, is facing a battle to be fit in time after suffering from a bug that has gone around the Pompey camp.
If he did feature, the 22-year-old would be sure to get a negative reception from the visiting support, who were not happy at all with how Hirst left the club earlier in his career.
But, the prospect of the striker not featuring hasn’t bothered the Wednesday support as it’s fair to say that they don’t rate Hirst who has managed two goals in 18 this season, although they have come in the past five fixtures.
