After five years, and a seemingly endless number of mediocre performances, Adrien Rabiot has finally left Juventus.

The midfielder refused to put pen to paper on a deal worth €7.5m per year in Turin in order to become a free agent. And, despite a rather astonishing array of 'meh' outings for both club and country in recent years, Rabiot has plenty of suitors all vying for his signature.

So where will he end up?

We at 90min have taken a look...

No, we're not making this up, Adrien Rabiot has actually been linked with Real Madrid in recent days. Yes, that Real Madrid. Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Carlo Ancelotti is a fan of Rabiot, having previously worked with the midfielder at Paris Saint-Germain. Considering the fact that Madrid currently have *deep breath*: Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Brahim Diaz and Arda Guler as midfield options, we doubt that a player like Rabiot is needed. 5. Manchester United

Rabiot has long been linked with a move to Manchester United, with rumours circulating quite a bit last summer when it looked like the midfielder was set to leave Juventus. Now as a free agent, one would've expected Man Utd to be linked again, but that hasn't really been the case. Instead, the Red Devils' new transfer team has seemingly turned their attentions elsewhere - eyeing a much shrewder move for Manuel Ugarte. Fit: 2/10

4. Newcastle

Like Man Utd, Newcastle were also pretty heavily linked with Rabiot during the 2023 summer transfer window. And while the Magpies probably do need a midfielder, a mix of Profit and Sustainability Rules and the fact that Rabiot would likely much rather sign for a Champions League club, probably rules them out of contention for his signature. Fit: 4/10

3. Chelsea

Rabiot playing for Chelsea makes a lot of sense for some reason. Surprisingly, the midfielder hasn't been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since his departure from Juventus this week, but we are expecting the rumours to start floating around soon enough. He'd be a pretty seamless replacement for the reportedly outward-bound Conor Gallagher. Fit: 7/10

2. AC Milan

As well as linking Rabiot with a move to Real Madrid, Gazzetta dello Sport has more reasonably linked him with a move to AC Milan too. Having spent five years in Italy already, a move to another Serie A club does make a lot of sense for the midfielder. With Tijjani Reijnders being touted for a transfer to Arsenal too, handing a contract to Rabiot would make a lot of sense for Milan too. Fit: 8/10

"I followed Liverpool as a kid because I was a fan of Steven Gerrard", Rabiot revealed back in 2022. Now in 2024, he might be about to get his childhood dream move to Anfield. Having struggled to nail down consistent partners for Alexis Mac Allister in the middle of the park during the 2023/24 campaign, the Reds are in dire need of midfield reinforcements this summer. As a result, free agent Rabiot has been linked Liverpool at seemingly every opportunity this week. It's a move that, in theory, makes a lot of sense. Fit: 9/10
