The ugly Adrien Rabiot saga continued on Thursday.

According to L’Equipe, Rabiot has been suspended until 27 March for his behaviour following PSG’s shock Champions League round-of-16 exit at the hands of Manchester United.

PSG reportedly cited two main reasons for his suspension: liking Patrice Evra’s celebratory video on Instagram and being seen on camera dancing at a nightclub the night of the defeat.

Rabiot also broke his silence on Thursday, stating: “It’s not that I’m hiding away, I am available to the club.

“If I could play, I would. I’ve always been a club man.

“I didn’t like it [being eliminated from the Champions League], it was disappointing.”

Though Rabiot was widely tipped to join Barcelona this summer on a free transfer, talks have since stalled.
