Adidas unveil the new official match ball of the Champions League | OneFootball

The Champions League returns with the Round of 16 knockout stage this week, so of course adidas decide to unveil a new official ball.

On Monday, the sports super brand adidas presented a new official match ball to be used for the rest of this Champions League campaign. According to them, the ball was inspired by the venue of the tournament final in Kiev.

The design of the ball features elements of the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, where the Champions League final is due to take place on 26 May. The yellow and blue seats can be found in the colour scheme, whilst the abstract illustration pays homage to the venue skyline.

The ball will be revealed during the knockout round first leg fixtures this Tuesday and Wednesday, with defending champions Real Madrid hosting PSG for one of this season’s most epic clashes.
