The latest social media activity on the part of sporting giants Adidas has turned heads across the day to date.

This comes after they made use of Real Madrid’s latest continental triumph to poke some fun at the rest of Europe’s top clubs.

Los Blancos, of course, are fresh off clinching glory in the Champions League on Saturday night.

After making the trip to Wembley to take on Borussia Dortmund, goals on the part of Dani Carvajal and Vinícius Jr. proved enough to guide Carlo Ancelotti’s troops to the right side of a 2-0 result.

As much means that Real have now, remarkably, marched all the way to the title in six of the last 11 editions of the Champions League.

The La Liga champions’ status as the continent’s standout club has in turn only been reinforced, time and time again.

And, as alluded to above, eager to drive this very point home in the aftermath of last night’s London showpiece were Los Merengues’ kit manufacturer.

First, Adidas unveiled a post featuring a photo of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad celebrating, accompanied by the caption:

‘Dear Europe, we’re sorry’.

And as much was later followed by the same image, on this occasion featuring the tagline:

‘Actually, we’re not’:
