Former Italy defender Daniele Adani believes Angel di Maria will transform Juventus.

The veteran PSG winger will sign for Juve as his contract with the Parisians expires on Thursday.

Adani said on RAI: "Angel Di Maria is simply the strongest winger of the decade. I repeat it and there is no need for many explanations to remember what he did. He comes from Rosario Central to Europe, from Benfica and then plays for the best European teams. At Real he wins the Decima and now he plays at PSG.

"Thirty career titles, fourth place in appearances with Argentina, he is extraordinary. He plays left and right, with his feet on the line or inside the field, he is fast, technical, whimsical.

"He knows how to assist, score by shooting from the outside: look at the goal he scores against France in Russia.

"He played with (Lionel) Messi who recognises him as one of the best teammates ever: he is superior in football intelligence, in status. If I think of (Dusan) Vlahovic, Di Maria and (Federico) Chiesa, I think of something unstoppable in terms of speed, technique, it would be a great purchase."
