Former Italy defender Daniele Adani has sung the praises of Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The summer signing has been superb in his first games in Serie A.

Adani said on RAI Sport: "He is a guy who works a lot even without the ball, as well as having the ability to dribble and take initiative with resourcefulness.

"He knows how to go along the phase, he knows how to converge in the centre, not surprisingly he scored a headed goal, a right and a left one.

"In addition to being a winger, he also knows how to play the forward role in which he plays with the Georgian national team.

"With (Luciano) Spalletti he will also improve the fact of associating with his teammates, to combine in the tight space and to raise his head to make the right choice. He is a great purchase, a guy who is already useful and able to make a difference."
