Adama Traoré highlighted the importance of consistency in the wake of Wolves’ 1-0 win over Leeds on Friday night.
There was a huge slice of luck involved in the hosts’ 64th-minute goal, as Traoré’s rocket of a shot hammered the crossbar only to bounce off goalkeeper Illan Meslier and into the net.
It marked a rare consecutive win for the Molineux side, who have now won three and drawn one of their last four league outings.
“I think it’s important. I think we’d been working so hard through the game for 90 minutes,” Traoré told Wolves TV.
“We know how Leeds play back to back and also we know with any team they can score and every team they play in the league they score.
“So clean sheet here at home and back-to-back wins are very important to us, so this is the goal.”
The win leaves Wolves in 11th place, and still with an outside chance of claiming a European spot.
