Adama Traore has admitted he wants to add more goals to his game this season despite being deployed in a slightly different role by coach Nuno.
Traore has been moved to right wing-back so far this term and has notched four assists already – one more than he managed in the whole of last season.
But the Spain youth international has conceded that he wants to start finding the back of the net a bit more for the Black Country outfit.
“Definitely. If I can help the team, giving assists, like I’m doing, or score, like I want to do, it’s better for the team,” he told the Express and Star.
“I want to defend and everything is important, but I played all my life as a winger, so those things I like to do as well.
“This new position, I have to work in a defensive shape as well, but I’m working on every aspect. I feel I am improving almost every day.”
