Former Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has given great credit to Diogo Jota for his impressive first few weeks since joining the club from Wolves.
Jota scored the opening goal in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over FC Midtjylland in the Champions League on Tuesday night. A late Mo Salah penalty rounded off the scoring after Jota had put Liverpool in front in the 55th minute.
Lallana says that Jota’s fast start should not be sniffed at, given the time it can sometimes take to settle in at a new club.
