Espérance Sportive de Tunis striker Achref Jabri is on the verge of making his debut with the Tunisian national team. His name is expected to feature in Sami Trabelsi's upcoming squad list.

The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks at EST, made a name for himself during his loan spell at Espérance Sportive de Zarzis. He was recalled by the Blood and Gold in January 2025, before his loan deal ended. Last season, he netted 8 goals and provided 6 assists in 27 league appearances.

His performances have opened the door to the Tunisian national team, which has been searching for a prolific striker since the days of Francileudo Santos and Issam Jemâa.The Carthage Eagles will take on Liberia on September 4 at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades, before flying to Equatorial Guinea on September 8 for the 7th and 8th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
