AC Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was confident that the club could identify the Lazio fans that racially abused him on Sunday.

As seen in a post on Bakayoko’s Instagram page yesterday, the 27-year-old French midfielder was not phased by the racist chants coming from the Biancocelesti away end of the San Siro on Sunday evening, highlighting his and teammate Franck Kessie’s strength.

Below is Bakayoko’s statement from his Instagram page:

Thank you for the warm welcome Rossoneri. I was unfortunately injured in my debut but the most important thing is the 3 points from the team. And to some Lazio fans and their racist cries towards to me and my brother Franck Kessie. We are strong and proud of our skin colour. I have all my confidence in our club to identify them.
