AC Milan attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini is eager to take on Inter Milan this weekend after joining Monza on loan.

The 22-year-old started his campaign at Empoli but struggled to earn playing time in Tuscany.

Therefore, the Rossoneri decided to provide him with new accommodation, striking a deal with their neighbors Monza.

The Italian has now completed a switch to the Biancorossi where he’ll spend the rest of the season.

The young man revealed that he and his father, the legendary Paolo Maldini, felt that joining Raffaele Palladino’s ranks would be the best move at the moment.

“I already feel at home, everything was perfect and I’m very happy to be here,” said the AC Milan starlet while chatting with the press following his arrival at Monza via FcInterNews.

“I already spoke with the coach yesterday. My goal is to have a great season and help the team as much as possible. My father and I both think this was the best choice.”
