Theo Hernández could be on the way out of AC Milan as it’s been a stalemate between the two sides over a potential contract extension.
After signing Lucas Hernández last year, could the Parisians now turn to his brother, Theo, as the next addition? Bringing in Theo would align with PSG’s strategy, providing solid reinforcement at left-back and fostering healthy competition to keep Nuno Mendes sharp.
Hernández is a crucial part of AC Milan’s defense, and the club is intent on keeping him from leaving on a free transfer. AS reports that Milan’s management is committed to securing his future with the team. However, if contract negotiations stall, they might consider putting him on the market.
This situation has already caught the attention of top European clubs. Bayern Munich and PSG are reportedly interested in the French international, with several Premier League teams also showing interest.

Hernández’s contract runs until 2026, and he’s reportedly asking for a salary increase to €8 million per season, according to Italian transfer journalist Nicoló Schira (h/t AS). However, neither he nor his agent has received a formal offer from Milan yet.
La Gazzetta dello Sport recognizes that Hernández has the potential to be one of the best in his position, though his recent performances have not quite lived up to expectations.
Hernández’s situation is likened to Rafael Leão’s, who saw improvement after similar discipline from Paulo Fonseca. While the Frenchman desires to stay with the club, his future may hinge on his willingness to meet the coaching staff’s demands.
