AC Milan Primavera beat Monza on penalties in Coppa Italia last 32 – the photos

AC Milan qualified for the Primavera TIM Cup round of 16 after a 5-4 win on penalties over Lombardy neighbours Monza.

The home side started the better and Colferai beat Moleri after a long throw in the sixth minute to give them a 1-0 lead. However, Milan levelled just before the break as Frigerio netted from Capone’s corner to make it 1-1.

Milan had chances to win in extra time but ultimately the game would go to penalties, where the Rossoneri scored all five to win 5-4 and set up a tie against Fiorentina.

The Primavera’s next outing will see them travel to face Juventus away in the league this Saturday at 13:00 CEST.
