AC Milan are putting pressure on Inter to consider the option of moving new stadium plans to the Sesto San Giovanni area or any other area that opens up so that they can start construction as soon as possible.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoneri want to begin construction on the new stadium imminently, and that they could decide to go ahead separately from the Nerazzurri.
Inter and Milan have yet to receive approval on plans to build a new stadium in the city of Milan.
Both clubs have grown frustrated with the delays that have kept them from having plans approved, but it is the Rossoneri who are particularly keen to get moving.
Accordingly, the Gazzetta reports, Milan would be keen to get started where approval can be gotten quickest, even if this means building away from the San Siro area.
The Rossoneri are putting pressure on Inter to join them, and if the Nerazzurri remain resistant, the two clubs could end up building separately according to the Gazzetta.
