AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni has apologized to Inter for some offensive banners and chants at the Rossoneri’s parade to celebrate the Serie A title yesterday.

Several Rossoneri players were involved in the prominent waving of a banner which read “Inter, shove the Coppa Italia up your a**,” the message coming after the Nerazzurri advanced to the final of the competition in an ill-tempered semi-final tie.

Meanwhile, a banner was also directed at Inter coach Simone Inzaghi and chants were aimed at former Rossoneri midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and at Inter generally.

Scaroni has quickly apologized for the matter and the disrespect shown by some of the players towards the Nerazzurri with their behaviour in the parade.
