Marc-Andre ter Stegen is gearing up for a busy summer ahead, with his future at Barcelona currently far from secure.
The Catalan club have kickstarted their plans to offload the German international this summer as they look to make potential new signing, Joan Garcia, the new first-choice goalkeeper.
While ter Stegen is ready to make a noise and fight to remain at Barça, there are certain clubs who have been alerted to the German’s situation in Catalonia.
According to Mundo Deportivo, AC Milan have emerged as a potential destination for ter Stegen this summer.
The Italian giants are currently in the process of selling their star goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, to Chelsea, which will create a gaping hole in their goalkeeping department.
To replace Maignan, Milan could look towards ter Stegen, a proven world-class goalkeeper, who brings a wealth of experience to the table.

For the German international, Milan would be an ideal destination as well, considering the fact that he would immediately become a first-choice starter.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just around the corner, ter Stegen wants regular game time as he looks to preserve his status as the German number one.
A move to Milan, therefore, could make sense, even more so considering that ter Stegen will be closer to his family, which lives in Barcelona.
The German international, after all, has offers from Saudi Arabia. But the player is keen on remaining in Europe and Milan, to that end, could be an ideal destination.
However, in order for Milan to make a move for ter Stegen, they must conclude the sale of Maignan and hope that the German agrees to leave Barcelona.
