AC Milan attacker Junior Messias was delighted to score in victory over Genoa.

"It feels like the most important goal of my career, yes. The more time goes on, the more the points matter," Messias told DAZN.

“This victory gives us more fuel to keep going and believing in ourselves.

“I didn't even see Inter's result, we are concentrated on our own football. We knew it would be difficult this evening, but the results come from hard work during the week, that's what we need to focus on.

“I am relaxed, as I know that when you are a professional and work hard, good things will come."

Messias added: “Every game from now on is like a final. The others keep winning, we have to do it to, it doesn't matter if it's 1-0 or 2-0, the important thing is to get the points."
