AC Milan have confirmed that former Serie A stalwart Ciprian Tatarusanu has returned to Italy by signing for the club on a three-year deal.
The 34-year-old previously spent three seasons with Fiorentina, before departing in 2017 for Nantes and then Lyon, who had earlier announced that they expected the goalkeeper to seal his exit this weekend.
But he has returned to Italy from Ligue 1 by signing from the Champions League semi-finalists for a €500,000 fee on a contract until the summer of 2023.
He will provide back-up to number one Gianluigi Donnarumma between the posts following the departures of both Pepe Reina and Asmir Begović.
Although he will be second choice, the 66-time capped Romania international will wear the No. 1 jersey at San Siro.
