Leo Thethani and Dean Solomons are both set to leave Ajax this summer without making a first-team appearance.

Both have seen time this season at Jong Ajax, featuring in 13 and 14 games, respectively, and will see their contracts come to an end this summer.

However, there is plenty of hope for the South African duo as their agent, Jerome McCarthy, has revealed interest from teams outside of the Netherlands.

“AC Milan is interested in Leo. But those transfers are on hold because of the consequences of the coronavirus. They cannot leave the country.

“It is clear with Dean: his contract will not be extended. But with Leo there is still a small chance.

“Milan and Grasshoppers are very interested, but are still waiting to see how the corona crisis will develop.”

The pair both came out of the Ajax Cape Town academy.
