AC Milan have struck an agreement with Sporting CP to sign Danish striker Conrad Harder, according to Sky Italia.
Milan will pay a guaranteed fee of around €24 million, plus €3 million in potential add-ons for the 20-year-old.
Despite seeing limited gametime since joining Sporting from Nordsjælland in 2024, Harder scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 51 appearances across all competitions.
His blend of youth, technical ability and goal-scoring instinct has caught Milan’s eye, as he is seen as an exciting prospect capable of making an immediate impact.
Negotiations between Milan and Sporting moved swiftly in recent days, following Milan’s failed attempt to sign Victor Boniface due to concerns revealed in his medical.
Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennes were also keen to land Harder as a replacement for the departed Arnaud Kalimuendo, but Milan have won his race for his signature and are expected to finalise the move in the coming days.
Nonetheless, the Rossoneri are keen to bring in another centre-forward before the window shuts, although any move for Rasmus Hojlund looks unlikely with Napoli now favourites to sign the Manchester United striker.
Dusan Vlahovic remains of interest at the San Siro as Massimiliano Allegri targets a reunion with the Serbian, but his wages are proving to be a huge stumbling block.
Milan’s striker issues were laid bare in their Serie A opener against newly promoted Cremonese, who claimed a shock 2-1 victory on Saturday.
A chance to get back to winning ways awaits Milan in Friday’s encounter against Leece, where Harder could make his debut.
