Adebayo's stunning Luton Town assist

Despite losing Tom Lockyer to a worrying incident early on, Luton were dominant in the first-half and took the lead through Jordan Clark on 23 minutes. The goal was Clark's, but it was created by a stunning piece of play from Adebayo.

The 25-year-old isolated Kyle McFadzean in the left-channel, turning the Coventry defender inside out before unselfishly teeing up Clark to finish.

How did the Championship play-off final play out?

Clark opened the scoring after that wonderful Adebayo assist on 23 minutes, with Luton also having two goals ruled out - correctly - either side of that.

Gabriel Osho was offside as he turned in Lockyer's knockdown, whilst a ball struck Adebayo on the hand after a Callum Doyle clearance before nestling in Ben Wilson's goal.

However, despite Adebayo and Luton dominating the first-half, Coventry battled back in the second-half, with Gus Hamer pulling the Sky Blues level on 66 minutes.

The full-time score was 1-1, with the game heading into extra time.

Luton had a third goal disallowed following Joe Taylor's accidental handball, taking the game to an eventual penalty shootout.

After five flawless penalties apiece, it came down to Dan Potts and Fanktay Dabo of Luton and Coventry respectively - the latter blazing his effort off-target to secure Luton's promotion.
