Barcelona captain Marc-André ter Stegen has sent a message of support the way of his teammates.

This comes after Hansi Flick’s troops got their 2025/26 La Liga campaign up and running in altogether positive fashion.

Barcelona made the trip to Son Moix on Saturday evening, for an opening day meeting with RCD Mallorca.

When all was said and done in a drama-filled affair, the visitors emerged on the right side of a 3-0 result.

This came owing to goals on the part of attacking trio Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Lamine Yamal.

Forced to watch on from afar as his teammates got the job done in Mallorca was the aforementioned Marc-André ter Stegen, who went under the knife late last month to solve a long-standing back complaint.

As alluded to above, though, post-match, the German was quick to show his appreciation for Flick’s players.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Ter Stegen unveiled a celebratory post, featuring the caption:

‘Well done team! Good start into La Liga’
