Lucie Gwilt, Cariad and Ffiona Evans
Two Aberystwyth Town Women players recently paid a visit to Hector’s Greyhound Rescue and even got to name one of the centre’s newest arrivals.
Lucie Gwilt and Ffiona Evans went to meet the residents of the rescue centre in Llanrhydstud – and were especially happy to meet a female puppy who had been rescued earlier that week.
Centre founder Hayley Bradley invited the pair to name her – and they opted to call her ‘Cariad’.
“We were so pleased to meet Hayley, beautiful Cariad and all the rest of the lovely greyhounds,” said Evans. “We’ll definitely be supporting their work however we can in the future.”
Hector’s Greyhound Rescue need to raise a minimum of £10,000 per month to keep operational. To make a donation or to buy a ticket for the forthcoming Grand Raffle, check out their social media or www.hectorsgreyhoundrescue.org.
