Jimmy Thelin has targeted the ongoing transfer window to bring in reinforcements to strengthen his squad and try to turn around a dismal run.

Adding a centre forward to his team is high on the Aberdeen boss’ list and the Dons are keen on doing a deal.

Aberdeen failed to agree to a deal with AC Milan to sign their forward Marko Lazetic on loan in this window.

However, they have switched their focus to Charleroi star Dabbagh, who has fallen out of favour with the Belgian outfit.

According to Belgian outlet DH Les Sport, Aberdeen are closing in on getting their hands on their forward target Dabbagh.

Thelin’s side want to take the striker on loan with an option to make his move permanent in the summer.

The Dons are pushing to get the deal over the line before the transfer window ends.

The 26-year-old Palestine international joined Charleroi in 2023 and has scored seven goals in 44 appearances for them.
