Abdou Diallo on joining PSG & risking assured playing time elsewhere: “No risk, no reward.”

Speaking as a guest on tonight’s Canal Football Club show, PSG central defender Abdou Diallo reflected on his decision this summer to join the Ligue 1 champions when he could have instead been playing for a club at this moment where playing time was more guaranteed.

“It is always part of the thinking because you always have to analyse things before committing. Aside from that, when you arrive in a certain type of club, there will always be competition, never a guaranteed place. You have to get up and fight and take what is in front of you. No risk, no reward.”
