Abdelmalek Kelaleche and the long-awaited return to CR Belouizdad
Young Algerian attacking midfielder Abdelmalek Kelaleche has officially completed a return to Chabab Riadhi Belouizdad, signing a three-year deal with the capital club he represented two seasons ago.
The 20-year-old playmaker arrives as a free agent after the termination of his contract with MC Alger, rejoining a familiar environment as he seeks to revitalize a career recently affected by off-field challenges. His departure from MC Alger followed a dispute with former teammate Ayoub Abdellaoui, and came after an inconsistent loan spell at Tunisia’s Club Africain last season.
Despite recent instability, Kelaleche remains highly regarded within Algerian football circles for his technical qualities and ability to drive forward from the left flank. He becomes part of a growing group of young talents being integrated into the CRB first team, which already includes goalkeeper Anes Mokhtar and forward Anas Abbassi. The club is also currently trialing two additional U20 players as part of a clear strategy focused on youth development.
Head coach Sead Ramović, who continues to seek reinforcements in central defense and midfield, views Kelaleche’s arrival as an opportunity to add both depth and competition in wide areas.
