Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has ruled Aaron Ramsey out of Wednesday’s trip to St Johnstone.
The Scottish champions signed the Welsh international in January but he has played just 94 minutes since moving on loan from Juventus.
And the wait will go on for the 31-year-old’s next appearance as injury will keep him out of the Scottish Premiership clash in midweek.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the game, Van Bronckhorst said: “Ramsey, [Steven] Davis, Amad [Diallo], [Ryan] Jack and [Filip] Helander are not available for tomorrow.
“Hopefully he will join the team very soon, he is already working out on the pitch again.
“He is very disappointed and looking forward to a return.”
Rangers go into the game three points behind league leaders Celtic.
