How delighted are you to be at BVB now?“I was in Argentina eight months ago, then I went to England to join Chelsea. I'm delighted to be here now. I'm very happy about this step. I've been told a lot of good things about the BVB fans and about the size of the club. I'm therefore very happy and am really looking forward to it.”

What do you already know about BVB?“I of course know that it's a fantastic club that always competes at the very top. I know that BVB have a great fan base, which I like. The fans at Boca Juniors are very good too. That's what I know about BVB. That makes me very happy to be here, I really like the club.”

What can the BVB fans look forward to?“I'm a player who works hard, very hard even. I always try to give my all on the pitch. I try to convey calmness on the ball – but the fans should know that I give my all on the pitch. I hope I can get some minutes under my belt. I haven't played much for six months. My goal is therefore to start slowly and to try to play a lot of games and work hard for the team.”

What made you decide on the shirt number 28?“I am very satisfied with my shirt number. The story behind it is this: Yesterday, I spoke to a friend whom I like very much and whom I would like to say hello to here. When we talked about the available numbers, he told me that 28 was free and that it was his birthday. That's why I chose this number.”
