Oliver Glasner, Timothy Chandler and match-winner Jens Petter Hauge emphasised the team performance after the win at Olympiacos.

Head coach Oliver Glasner: “It was a great performance from us in a difficult match in front of a full house. We fell behind with the first chance but I was pleased with the reaction. The equaliser was really well worked. After that, we were a bit too passive for my liking. The second half was a battle, we withstood the pressure and Kevin was always on hand. Before the winning goal there were three or four times when we won the ball but then didn’t see it through. It’s nice that we’ve achieved our first objective of reaching the knockout rounds so early. It’s a nice evening for us and the fans, who supported us even during difficult periods of the match.”

Timothy Chandler: “We’re all over the moon. It was a really strong team performance. We all gave it everything we had. Lots of teams lose or draw here. We had some difficulties at the start but we fought our way into it. It was our character that counted in the end. Late goals demonstrate our belief that we can win until the last minute. We’ve shown again that the team spirit is good. We fought until the end and also defended well.” Jens Petter Hauge: “I’m feeling good and happy. Not just for myself but for the team. Jesper and I are always talking to the coach and trying to improve every day. What the coach says is most important. I’m not focusing on anything else.”
