A source reveals big reason that Chelsea pulled out of Tyler Adams deal | OneFootball

There was one of the most bizarre events that I had witnessed covering transfer windows since 2012 yesterday!

Fabrizio Romano had already given the ‘here we go’ for Tyler Adams to join Chelsea from Leeds United. When he calls that on a deal, the 98% of the time they get done, but not this one.

Chelsea had triggered Leeds United release clause for Adams and had done his medical. But yesterday, the deal collapsed and it was reported that Adams would now not be joining Chelsea.

But The Daily Mail have a different take on why Chelsea pulled out and suggest that actually, Adams failed his medical at the club.

According to a their source, the Blues were concerned that Adams’ recovery from a hamstring injury may be longer than expected.

The source says tests completed by Chelsea revealed that the American star’s recovery may require another four months – and that led to the club’s decision to back away.

I’m really not sure on this story to be honest, but let’s wait and see if anyone else confirms it.
