Real Madrid will fight for the first trophy of the season in Finland, set to host the final of a UEFA club competition for the first time ever. Ancelotti's team take on Eintracht Frankfurt (10 August, 9:00pm CEST) at Helsinki's Olympic Stadium.

Inaugurated in 1938, the European Super Cup 2022 venue was renovated between 2016 and 2020 and currently has a capacity of 36,200, playing host to the Finland national team's home games.

The Helsinki Olympic Stadium has a lookout tower measuring 72.71 metres, the distance thrown by their gold-medal-winning javelin star Matti Järvinen at the 1932 Olympics. The stadium hosted the Olympic Games in 1952 and has also been the venue for various world championships in ice hockey and athletics.
