Hi, a Liverpool fan here, but not come to gloat or cause trouble.

I can’t understand why anyone would want to leave Newcastle United at the moment, or my club to be honest, but it happens.

People say love the club and not the player.

Off the top of my head, we (Liverpool) have lost Mascherano, Alonso, Mcmanaman, Owen, Gerrard (was out the door but walked back in), Suarez, Torres, Coutinho, Sterling and Trent.

Some of them used a variety of tricks to get their move.

Konate appears to have had his head turned by Real and Diaz is doing his best to get to Bayern.

My feelings were a mixture of anger, sadness and betrayal towards some of them.

I don’t see how we can afford Alexander Isak when we have major worries over our centre halves but I’ve already been stunned by this window.

We sold Coutinho and brought in Virgil, Allison and Fabinho and ultimately, down the line, won the League.

I’d be made up if we bought Isak but losing Konate and Diaz would be huge blows.

I’ve never recovered from Shanks selling Sir Roger Hunt in the late 60s.

If Isak’s head has been turned, sell to whoever and use the money wisely.

Virgil and Salah clearly wanted to stay. One of our own didn’t BUT didn’t have the guts to be honest about it.

As I said, love the club but not the player. I hope you have another great season (except against us).
