A host of Ligue 1 teams in negotiations with Lyon to take right-back Gédéon Kalulu

RMC Sport report that a host of Ligue 1 sides have begun negotiations with Lyon about the possible transfer of 22-year-old right-back Gédéon Kalulu next month, who is currently shining on loan during a spell with Ligue 2 team AC Ajaccio.

The outlet believes that Saint-Étienne, OGC Nice, Strasbourg and Nantes are all locked in negotiations with OL to sign the youngster. Kalulu wants to play in the top flight but his current loan side Ajaccio intend to keep hold of the player until at least the end of the current campaign.

Opening talks between interested parties and Lyon are centring around a €1.5m fee and the possible loan return of the player to AC Ajaccio until the end of this campaign.
