Lars Stindl: It’s been an emotional week for me. The reception I got from the fans was really nice. In the second half, we struggled to keep hold of the ball as much as we did in the first 45. We were a little panicked in possession. Frankfurt are a team top that play with a lot of energy and power, but we kept tight to our man and didn’t give them much time on the ball. It’s not always possible to defend everything that comes your way over 90 minutes though.

Julian Weigl: We put in a really good first-half performance. We were only defending after the break though and couldn’t get any respite. Everyone gave it everything they had. We were hoping we’d be able to see out the narrow lead, but I think a 1-1 draw is a fair result. Now we want to try and give the fans as many wins as we can in the final games.

Jonas Omlin: We put up good resistance for much of the match. We defended well, we fought hard and we put everything on the line when the ball was in the box. We have to take that into the next games. I’m quite peeved about the goal. I didn’t get a good view of his strike, but I shouldn’t allow the ball to go under me like that. It’s games like today where you really want the clean sheet. However, Frankfurt are a quality side and they obviously have no intentions of losing 1-0 at home. They put us under pressure and made life difficult for us. It’s a shame that we weren’t able to get the three points. 1-1 is a fair result after a tough game though. We’re unbeaten in four now and we want to carry that momentum forward so that we can have a successful end to the season.

Daniel Farke: It was a high intensity Bundesliga match. We played well in the first half and were effective. We failed to keep hold of possession well at the start of the second period though and didn’t see through our counterattacks cleanly. Eintracht were able to build up a head of steam after that and we had to suffer a lot. We defended resiliently, but Frankfurt continued to create danger with lots of crosses. We had a very good goalkeeper again today. It's obviously disappointing to concede a late equaliser, but with the pressure they put us under, you can’t say it wasn’t deserved.

Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner: I have to give credit to the boys today. We went behind very early on and had to chase the game. We have chance upon chance that unfortunately just wouldn’t go in. The team didn’t lose their belief though and managed to get the equaliser in the 83rd minute, which is testament to their determination. I think that it’s a deserved point and actually ought to have been three. We were incredibly dominant, particularly in the second half – against Borussia Mönchengladbach of all sides, who have ambitions of reaching Europe. Hats off to my team.
