Millwall are ready to make an offer for Burton Albion striker Victor Adeboyejo, according to Football Insider.
Reports have suggested that the striker has a low six-figure release clause in his contract while Wigan Athletic were thought to be frontrunners.
However, Millwall and Bolton are said to be ready to try and hijack the deal.
So, would it be a good signing for Millwall? And do they need him?
Our FLW writers have their say…

This is an interesting one, because it felt like Adeboyejo was showing more promise with Barnsley in the Championship than his numbers suggested.
The 25-year-old has not scored more than three league goals in a single season before this term, of which he has chipped in with 11 goals and two assists in 26 outings for League One strugglers Burton Albion.
The Brewers deserve credit for believing in him, but it looks like an exit will come to pass before the end of the window.
Millwall do need to replace Benik Afobe, and Adeboyejo would be an intriguing addition, it is tough to predict what impact he would make in the remainder of the campaign, but in bringing some competition for places it would be a sensible signing.
The Nigerian would add a different kind of threat in South London and it would be a smart signing at an affordable price.

Having recently opted to part ways with Benik Afobe, Millwall have a space to fill in their squad in the striker position and thus it is hardly a surprise that are keen to bolster their attacking options.
However, a move for Adeboyejo would be a gamble as his performances in the Championship during his career have left a lot to be desired.
Despite making 50 appearances at this level, the forward has only managed to find the back of the net on five occasions.
While it is fair to say that the forward has taken his game to new heights this season in a Burton shirt, Millwall should avoid taking a risk on him at this stage of the window as he is unlikely to be an upgrade on their existing options.

This could prove to be a shrewd bit of business from Millwall.
It seems Adeboyejo’s release clause is a low six-figure fee so he’d certainly be a cheap alternative to the likes of Lyndon Dykes, who they’ve been linked with.
The striker is not quite as powerful as Dykes but he does have the physical traits, in terms of his strength and speed, that could make him a success at The Den.
On top of that, he’d be arriving high in confidence after scoring 13 goals for a Burton side that have certainly had their struggles this term.
It’s maybe not the level of forward fans might have liked but they need more firepower after Benik Afobe’s departure and Adeboyejo represents a good cut-price option.
