A Bitter draw for Chivas Femenil against Toluca | OneFootball

Toluca, Edomex.- Chivas Femenil showed ambition to win, as they tried everything they could to score the goal that would give them the victory, especially in the final stretch of the match, but they were not sharp on attack and had to settle for a 0-0 draw against Toluca, in their match on Matchday 5 of the Clausura 2023.

The match between El Rebaño and Las Diablas was marked by a good dose of refereeing controversy, as the referee did not mark two clear penalties in favor of Guadalajara and allowed the scarlet players to dirty the game with their rough play. With this result, Chivas has taken the overall lead for the moment with 13 points, with the rest of the matches of the day still to be played.

The ones that got away:- At 2', Joseline Montoya drove at full speed, then beat two defenders and shot left-footed, but into the goalkeeper's hands.

- At 12' Karla Martinez came within inches of scoring from a corner kick, but her header was denied on the goal line.
