Transfer news: Liverpool keen on a move for Jarrod Bowen this summer

Liverpool are keen on adding quality attackers to their squad this summer, courtesy of which the club are trying to sign 24-year-old West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen, who scored 8 goals and provided a further 5 assists in 38 Premier League appearances last season, has been linked with Liverpool throughout the summer.

The Reds would want to provide reasonable cover to their front three, something Jarrod Bowen could certainly do. Although Liverpool already possess the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, and Xherdan Shaqiri, that might not remain the case beyond the summer.

With Liverpool duo Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri linked with a move away from the club this summer, Jurgen Klopp would want to bring quality reinforcements into his side.

Jarrod Bowen, who played on the right-wing for West Ham last season, could be a direct deputy to Mo Salah while he could also facilitate Jurgen Klopp to play in a 4-2-3-1 system if need be.

The 24-year-old provides a lot of options while Jurgen Klopp is also thought to be a big fan of the player. However, it remains to be seen whether Jarrod Bowen would be interested in playing a squad role for Liverpool.

Bowen scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists for West Ham last season.

The Reds do provide players with the prospect of Champions League football, while they would also be keen on challenging for the Premier League title this season.

Although the club have been linked with the likes of Federico Chiesa and Jeremy Doku, it remains to be seen who the Reds will sign by the end of the summer.
