It has been a quiet January, so what can we expect on transfer deadline day?

Antonio Nusa

A rapid winger with a box full of tricks, Nusa seems to be the latest Norwegian mega-talent and has attracted interest from England as a result.

First Tottenham were heavily linked, then Brentford closed in on a deal before, per the Evening Standard, Nusa’s medical flagged some potential issues.

Don’t rule out a deal for either club as they look to strengthen for the second half of the season.

Jacob Ramsey

With Premier League clubs wary of FFP restrictions, there hasn’t been much movement this window. The words “pure profit” have been bandied around, with clubs’ financial restrains significantly eased when they sell academy graduates who they never had to pay a fee for in the first place.

Chelsea know all about that and Aston Villa’s own Jacob Ramsey has been linked with the likes of Tottenham and Bayern Munich with the window winding down. A late switch may not be totally off the cards.

Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja

In a similar vein, Chelsea are seemingly once again open to significant bids for some of their homegrown talent.

There is still no new contract on the table for Spurs-linked Conor Gallagher, who has 18 months remaining on his existing deal, and Fulham are said to be pushing for a deal that would see Armando Broja make a move just 1.5 miles from Stamford Bridge to Craven Cottage.

Bryan Zaragoza

Bayern Munich have already agreed a deal to sign the Spain winger in the summer but are pushing to bring that forward to today.

With Serge Gnabry now joined on the sidelines by Kingsley Coman, Bayern want to strike a deal with Granada that would see Zaragoza play in Bavaria from now.

The 22-year-old winger, capped by Spain for the first time last year, has six goals in LaLiga so far this season.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

As the final week of the window arrived, David Ornstein of The Athletic reported Brighton were pushing to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester, with a deal worth £30m in the offing.

That hasn’t materialised yet but the midfielder is well fancied and not just on the south coast, with Brentford also said to be big fans.

Leicester boss Enzo Maresca refused to rule anything out on Tuesday evening. Could this be the deadline day’s big money deal?
