6 Real Sociedad stars ruled out of Villarreal clash | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad are set to be without a minimum of six players for their upcoming meeting with Villarreal.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Friday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in San Sebastian.

Real Sociedad are currently in the thick of final preparations for a return to action on Sunday.

With sights on a return to winning ways fresh off a hugely disappointing 2-0 home defeat at the hands of RCD Mallorca last weekend, La Real will make the trip to La Cerámica, to take on the aforementioned Villarreal.

In efforts to get things back on track, however, boss Imanol will be forced to make do without the contributions of a number of important players.

As per MD, all of the following are set to miss out for Real Sociedad on Sunday:

Nayef Aguerd, Ander Barrenetxea, Álvaro Odriozola, Igor Zubeldia, Arsen Zakharyan, and Dani Díaz.

Sheraldo Becker, meanwhile, is labelled as a doubt after being put through an individualised training session in the gym on Friday.
