6 Real Madrid stars sit out training after AC Milan clash | OneFootball

Six members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid sat out group training on Friday morning.

That’s according to Relevo’s Jorge C Picon, who has provided an insight into the latest developments in the Blancos camp.

Real Madrid, of course, marked their return to action in the early hours of Thursday.

As part of the club’s pre-season tour of the USA, they locked horns with Italian heavyweights AC Milan, in a friendly fixture in Chicago.

When all was said and done, it was Milan who emerged on the right side of the result, owing to a solitary goal on the part of Samuel Chukwueze.

Still, there were plenty of positives to take away from the matchup on the Real side of things, including the performances of some of the club’s up-and-coming young talents.

24 hours on, several such players, as well as some of Los Merengues’ more senior stars, in turn, were afforded a rest by boss Carlo Ancelotti and his staff.

As per a report from the aforementioned Jorge C Picon, Nico Paz and Mario Martín were joined by all of Fran García, Lucas Vázquez, Dani Ceballos and Brahim Díaz in sitting out training on Friday:
