6️⃣ Premier League sides keen to land Schalke's Weston McKennie

Liverpool, Leicester, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Newcastle United are all keen to land United States international midfielder Weston McKennie.

That’s according to a report from ESPN, who claim Hertha Berlin are also interested in the Schalke star, who the Bundesliga outfit want £27.3m for this summer.

However, Premier League sides believe that a bid of £18.2m would be enough to bring in one of the most exciting American talents in some time.

While Liverpool are considering McKennie should they not be able to land Bayern’s Thiago, Tottenham will go after the 21-year-old should their bid to bring in Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg fall short.

Leicester and Everton are also in need of a box-to-box midfielder and have both Højbjerg and McKennie on their list of potential options.
