Real Madrid’s opponents for matchday three of the Champions League Group Stages (Tuesday 19, 9 pm CET) produced a thumping victory over Zorya at the Olympic Stadium. Fernando and Tetê both bagged braces, with Pedrinho and Sikan also getting their names on the score-sheet for Shakhtar, who are battling it out with Dinamo Kiev at the top of the league table.

De Zerbi’s side picked up three valuable points against the fourth-placed team after dominating the game from start to finish and going in to half-time 3-0 ahead. Fernando opened the scoring in the 11th minute, Pedrinho then made it 2-0 on 28´, and the Brazilian striker scored his second goal of the day before the break. In the second half, Zorya pulled a goal back through Gladky on 63’, but Tetê, with two goals (71´and 91´), and Sikam (80´) rounded off a convincing win for the hosts.
