Guadalajara's history is full of players who gave their heart and soul to our institution. One of them is Jaime Pajarito, who was part of one of the most memorable generations in the Rojiblanca's rich history and who celebrates his 70th birthday this Wednesday.
Jaime Pajarito defended the Chivas jersey for 6 seasons, was a Champion with the Rebaño Sagrado in the 1986-87 campaign and once he retired from the field, he was a scout and forwards coach for Club Guadalajara for several years.

- In the 86-87 season, Alberto Guerra brought him out of professional retirement, as a tremendous brawl against América in Day 3 of the tournament left 10 Rojiblancos suspended, so the coach asked Pajarito to return to the fields to strengthen the team while he recovered the punished players.
- The former Rebaño striker is one of the 10 Guadalajara players with the most goals in Liga MX Final Phase, with 5.
- He was the first Chiverío player to score 3 headed goals in a single match, against Pumas in the 1980-81 campaign in a 5-1 victory.
- He is the ninth player in the club's history with the most headed goals, having scored 14 with the Rojiblanca jersey.
